Automattic presented a brand-new advertisement network called Blaze which positions advertising on free WordPress.com sites and Tumblr. Advertising begins at $5/month.
Automattic is the company behind WordPress.com, WooCommerce, Akismet, Tumblr and other companies.
It was founded by Matt Mullenweg, the business owner who developed the complimentary WordPress open-source material management system (CMS).
Blaze Marketing Network
The advertising network was originally presented in April 2022 as a network specifically for Tumblr users to put ads on other Tumblr pages.
Automattic revealed that the network is now expanded to blog writers on WordPress.com and WordPress self-hosted publishers who have the Automattic Jetpack WordPress plugin installed.
Publishers on WordPress.com will have the ability to use the WordPress control panel at wordpress.com/advertising to begin choosing pages to advertise.
Marketing payment is for impressions, not clicks.
Those who are utilizing the WordPress CMS can access Blaze through the Jetpack plugin.
If Jetpack isn’t already set up then it needs to be installed, either the totally free or superior version works.
Those who are using Jetpack can then start the project from the WordPress.com control panel at https://wordpress.com/home.
From there a user browses to the Posts or the Pages screen and scrolls to select the posts or pages for advertising, clicking on a three-dot (ellipsis) menu to select the Promote with Blaze alternative.
The user interface permits advertisers to choose the audience that will see the ads. Audience selection is segmented by what continent the advertisements will appear in, what kinds of gadgets will see the ads (mobile or desktop) and by what subject the advertisements will be displayed in.
Ads Are Revealed The marketing can appear from among millions of Tumblr and totally free WordPress.com web pages. Management of the Blaze ad campaign is done through the dashboard user interface at wordpress.com/advertising.
The projects are established by a day-to-day spending plan and by dates that the advertising will be shown. Blaze advertisements consist of a title, a bit and an image.
According to the Blaze support page:”Title: This appears above your image and as bolded text. You can compose an optimum of 80 characters here, utilize them sensibly to capture the viewer’s attention.
Bit: A short text description of your post that appears underneath your image. You can write an optimum of 120 characters here. We advise using this text to support your headline and offer viewers more context about what they will see when they click the ad and arrive at your content.
Image: Publish an image to represent your post. You can utilize the crop tool to change your image’s look in the advertisement.”
